2. Abstract of the lecture
With or without the course? - a question that every teacher asks themselves and that cannot be answered clearly. The course can be a great support for teachers who are inexperienced in the teaching of English. However, there is also the possibility to plan and conduct lessons in parts or completely without the course. This last possibility is what Ms Mühlhaeuser has chosen. She creates her teaching materials herself and often uses authentic picture books as a basis, around which she builds up her lessons. Additionally, she regularly uses authentic songs and games from English-speaking countries. She vividly describes her work, presents materials and answers questions that are raised in this context.
