Alongside tuition in the students’ chosen majors, it is a pivotal goal of the department to create opportunities for students to integrate interdisciplinary work into their studies. Cross-disciplinary topics in seminars and cooperation between different departments are important elements in our own programs as well

In addition, students of English and American Studies are strongly encouraged to make use of the available opportunities to spend time abroad in the course of their studies.
