Environmental Crisis and the Transnational Imagination

Workshop 3

Narratives of the Global Ecosystem

September 15-17, 2016

The workshop discusses narratives of global ecological interconnectedness and their effect on national frames of reference. Such narratives range from explicit responses to phenomena like climate change or economic globalization to fundamental discussions of our relationship to the planet and its ecosystem. Their ability to account for both local diversity and global connectedness is of special interest to our discussion.

All lectures and workshop sessions are free and open to the public.
