- March 14, 2012: Prof. Dr. Maria Höhn (Vassar College, Poughkeepsie, NY): The Ramstein II and the ‚Voice of the Lumpen‘: African American GIs and German Student Radicals (1969-71) from 17:30 to 19:00 at lecture hall 2106 (Building D)
- January 4-5, 2012: "Global Holocaust? Memories of the Destruction of the European Jews in Global Context (II)". Conference co-organized by the Miller Center for Holocaust Studies at the University of Vermont, the Chair for Transatlantic Cultural History at the University of Augsburg, the Bucerius Institute for Contemporary Germany and Society at the University of Haifa, and Society, and the Center for German and European Studies at the University of Haifa.
