Workshop 2

Postcolonial Ecocriticism /
Postcolonial Environments

February 18-20, 2016

The workshop will survey the emerging field of postcolonial ecocriticism and discuss its implications for a transnational approach to environmental questions. It will outline the theoretical groundwork laid by postcolonial ecocriticism, examine the practical implementation of its goals by the environmental justice movement, and inquire whether the postcolonial approach can be extended toward a general transnational perspective.

All lectures and workshop sessions are free and open to the public.
